This site is all about the most unique and fun-loving bagpipe and drum band in Idaho...
We started out as a bit of an experiment, initally conceived as a stepping stone to get into Boise's other pipeband, the Boise Highlanders. The band quickly evolved into its own little unique monstrosity, and was dubbed the Sleekit Beasties - in honor of Robert Burns' poem: "To A Mouse, On Turning Her Up In Her Nest With The Plough". All of the pipers and drummers in the band have undergone grueling lessons with John McDade, who might be the most patient man on Earth.
